Leafy heart/ Hearty leaf
Last October. While heading to a Cafe on the Danforth. Found this Katsura tree leaf on my way on the sidewalk. The colour caught my attention, and the pattern of the heart in it just made this special encounter very special.

Snapshot in LA- Marion Cotillard : what a good i.D!
---
Cotillard walks us through an architectural California villa, nonchalantly and charmingly. She strolls in her Dior heels and then tosses them aside to…surprise the onlooker with her super-powered steps.
Cotillard is outfitted in Dior.

Dior S/S 2014: Raf Simons knows how to say it with flowers!
“Against nature: the real and the imagined unite in a new synthesis of colour, codes and conceptions of clothing. There is an idea of experimentation in altering the nature of Dior’s fashion through a celebration of the artificial and the real this season. Here, for Raf Simons, Artistic Director of Christian Dior, the past collides with the future, ultimately forming a new tribe of flower women in a new architecture of clothing for Spring-Summer.”
I just recently discovered the photos of this S/S 2014 Dior extravaganza orchestrated by Raf Simons. Of course, you might already have seen their beauty in many a fashion magazine or blog last winter, still I wanted to share them with you. You might remember Dior’s amazing Autumn/Winter 2012 Runway with florists 'extraordinaires' like the Parisian Eric Chauvin and the Belgian Mark Colle (one of my favourites!). It seems Mr Simons really has a thing with flowers and likes saying it with flowers chez Dior. And I must say, I am obsessed with his floral projects. Enlisting the help of celebrated fashion event designer Bureau Betak once again, a temporary structure was constructed in the centre of Jardin du Musée Rodin. This temporary hanging garden is such a spectacular and dreamy interpretation of an exotic tropical Eden.
Watch the timelapse of the structure coming together in the video below.
Now you might also like to watch the edited version of the fashion show itself.
